Informacje o miejscu docelowym: Located 16 kilometres from Trivandrum, capital of Kerala state, Kovalam is one of South India's most fascinating sun and beach destinations. A small village surrounded by mangroves and coconut gardens consolidated in the 1930s, at which point the English made its beaches a tourist paradise subsequently visited by the hippie community as a stop before its arrival in Sri Lanka. Today, Kovalam is deployed along 17 kilometers of coastline where we find beaches such as Lighthouse Beach (the most iconic, thanks to its famous lighthouse of 35 meters high), Hawah Beach, ideal for watching the activity of local fishermen; or Samuda Beach, further apart. In addition to its insenadas, Kovalam is a melting pot of experiences ranging from a tour of the Karamana River, to art galleries or temples such as Thiruvallam Parasurama, to visiting from the different resorts of the coast.

One of the oldest temples of India, it’s a major Vishnu temple in the country. The entire Thiruvanathapuram city was built around this temple. It’s an architectural wonder, a mixture of Kerala and Tamil architecture. The temple has a large clear pond called Padmatheertham, which is also landmark. Thiruvananthapuram is built on hills by the sea shore and sandwiched between the Western Ghats and the Arabian Sea, Thiruvananthapuram is ranked first in the number of foreign tourists visiting Kerala and is a fascinating destination for holidaymakers.
