Day 1: Friday -Arrive in Krakow

You will be met and transferred to your hotel. There’s time to relax before meeting your fellow travelers and Tour Director over a Welcome drink. (WD).


Day 2: Saturday - in Krakow

After breakfast, we take you to visit the Wieliczka salt mine is over 700 years old and is one of the largest and oldest working salt mines in Europe. It is on the UNESCO list of the 12 most priceless monuments in the world. An elevator will take you to the first level of the mine where you will be able to see the 180-foot chapel made from salt rock and lit with salt-crystal chandeliers. There are many other chambers carved out of a huge block of salt, underground museums, and even tennis and volleyball courts. Return to Krakow for some free time before we continue our exploration and visit the Jewish quarter of the city. (B)


Day 3: Sunday - in Krakow

A morning sightseeing tour starts with a visit to Wawel Hill, a viewing of the Royal Castle, and visiting the Royal Cathedral. Next, take a walking tour of the Old Town where you will see the Main Market Square and Renaissance Cloth Hall, and visit St. Mary's Church. The afternoon is free to go for a stroll, browse through the shops, sample some “sernik” or “szarlotka”, or simply relax. (B)


Day 4: Monday - to Warsaw

This morning join us on a tour of Auschwitz-Birkenau, the notorious concentration camp from World War II and a UNESCO World Heritage site. Late afternoon arrival to Warsaw, Poland's capital. Dinner this evening. (B, D)


Day 5: Tuesday - in Warsaw

This 700-year-old capital is a symbol of Polish nationhood and the will to survive against great odds. Your sightseeing tour here includes a drive along the famous Royal Route from magnificent Castle Square to Lazienki Park and Palace, the summer residence of the last king of Poland. Pass by the Palace of Science and Culture (known as the “wedding cake”), the Saxon Gardens, the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, the Monument to the Heroes of the Warsaw Ghetto, and Barbican. Continue with a walking tour of the Old Town, Old Market Square, and St. John’s Cathedral. The rest of the day is free for shopping, a stroll through the city, and relaxing in one of the many parks or gardens. Optional: late afternoon Chopin concert. (B)


Day 5: Wednesday - to Vilnius

Drive across the Polish countryside, cities, and towns as you head to the border of Lithuania on your way to Vilnius, arriving at the day's end. (B)


Day 6: Thursday - in Vilnius

Vilnius is located on the confluence of the Neris and Velnele Rivers. In Old Vilnius, visit baroque St. Peter and St. Paul’s Church and striking St. Anne’s Church. View Vilnius University, dating back to 1570, the famous Gediminas Tower, and Vilnius Castle. The afternoon is free to continue exploring. Optional: Town of Trakai, beautifully set on three lakes. Day 7: Friday - to Riga

Depart this morning for Riga, the capital of Latvia. The balance of the day is at leisure to begin exploring the city with its interesting architecture, do some shopping, or go for a walk through the city. (B)


Day 8: Saturday - in Riga

See Riga Castle on the banks of the Daugava River, the magnificent Dome Cathedral, St. Jacobs Cathedral, St. Peter’s Church, the Parliament building, the Liberty Monument, and the district of Art Nouveau houses on a morning sightseeing tour. The rest of the day is free to explore more, shop, or maybe sample Latvian crepes. (B)


Day 9: Sunday - to Tallinn

Today's journey will take us to Tallinn, Estonia’s capital, situated on the southern coast of the Gulf of Finland. (B)


Day 10: Monday -in Tallinn

On a walking tour of Tallinn’s Upper and Lower Old Town, view the Alexander Nevsky Cathedral. Next, see Toompea Castle and the 14th-century Gothic Town Hall. Afternoon free. Farewell dinner this evening with your Tour Director and fellow traveling companions. (B, D)


Day 11: Tuesday - Depart Tallinn,

Check out from your hotel. Departure transfer to Tallinn airport. (B)
