We will meet you at the airport and transfer you to your hotel. Meet your tour guide in the hotel lobby this evening, before enjoying a welcome dinner.

This morning’s sightseeing tour features the Hofburg, once the seat of the Austro-Hungarian Empire. We also view the Belvedere Palace, Prater amusement park, the UN building, St. Stephen’s Cathedral and other vivid reminders of the city’s imperial history. Your afternoon is at leisure.

VIENNA - BUDAPEST (Breakfast, Dinner)

After breakfast, we will enjoy views of the Austrian and Hungarian countrysides, as we drive to Budapest.

BUDAPEST (Breakfast)

Situated on opposite banks of the Danube, the former cities of Buda and Pest are linked by a series of graceful bridges. Your morning sightseeing tour includes views of the decorative Parliament building, Royal Palace and the Castle Hill area, Fisherman's Bastion and Matthias Church, Heroes' Square, and Gellert Hill with its Citadel. The balance of the day is at leisure.

BUDAPEST - KRAKOW (Breakfast, Dinner)

The road to Krakow winds through the lovely hills and countryside of Slovakia, past the Tatras and onto the great plains of Poland. A relaxing dinner in Krakow is planned this evening.

KRAKOW (Breakfast)

Wawel Hill, St. Mary’s Church, the Renaissance Cloth Hall and other historic landmarks are included on our morning city sightseeing tour. The afternoon is free for strolling about the city.

KRAKOW-AUSCHWITZ-CZESTOCHOWA-WARSAW (Breakfast, Dinner)

After breakfast, we set out for Warsaw. On the way, we stop in Auschwitz, site of the infamous concentration camp. In the afternoon we drive to Czestochowa, Poland's pilgrimage center known for the blackened picture of St. Mary, popularly called the "Black Madonna". We arrive in Warsaw in the late afternoon.

WARSAW (Breakfast)

Your sightseeing tour includes a drive along the famous Royal Route from magnificent Castle Square to Lazienki Park and Palace. Pass by the Palace of Science and Culture, the Saxon gardens, the tomb of the Unknown Soldier, monument to the Heroes of the Warsaw Ghetto and the Barbican. Continue with a walking tour of Old Town, Market Square and St. John’s Cathedral. Use the balance of the day for shopping or attend an optional late afternoon Chopin concert.

After breakfast, we transfer you to the airport to board your return flight home.
